Below is the list of basic required documents and naming rules. Additional documents may be required depending on the situation (see the guidelines and FAQs below).

What kind of file formats are accepted?

Only PDF files are accepted in principle, except the following:

• List of Academic Achievements or Awards:
     Excel or PDF (Numbers format is not accepted).
• Documentary Evidence:
     PDF, JPEG, PNG, and GIF (Up to 10MB).

What if my school does not provide high school transcripts or predicted standardized examination grades directly to me?

What should I do if my high school transcripts are also regarded as official standardized examination grades or vice versa?

Please upload the same document twice at:
"1. Official School Transcripts"
"2. Official Examination Results for Academic Ability"

What should I submit if I am or have been enrolled in a postsecondary education (university, college, etc.)?

You should additionally upload:
• The official transcript of the institution at "1. Official School Transcripts".
• The graduation certificate of the institution at "4. Certificate of (Expected) Graduation" (if applicable).
• The withdrawal certificate of the institution at "8. Others" (if applicable).
• The institution's profile at "5. School Profiles" (if applicable).

What should I submit if I attended a Japanese pre-university preparatory institution and completed the preparatory courses?

You should additionally upload:
• Transcripts of the institution at "1. Official School Transcripts".
• Certificate of course completion at "4. Certificate of (Expected) Graduation".
• The institution's profile at "5. School Profiles"(if applicable).

What should I submit if I have passed an official test equivalent to a 12-year school curriculum (such as GED)?

You should additionally upload:
• The official score report at "1. Official School Transcripts".
• The official test certificate at "4. Certificate of (Expected) Graduation."
• The official information about the test at "5. School Profiles" (if applicable).
